so... it's been a while eh?

yeah i know. no one really blogs at all anymore. well nto really anyway. yeah feels kinda awkward now. it's like im talking to myself. in my head. ... yeah.. i know. we all kinda do that. like reading or own minds and such. i mean sometimes i do this out loud and i think it kinda freaks people out. well, mostly my mum.. and those random people i just happen to bump into at the supermarket.. yeahhh...

so i'm probably not going to highlight stuff. read it . it would make me really happy. unless youre some creepy stalker who'll one day show up and quote all of my words here to my face on our first meeting. in which case, i would feel very much.. disturbed.

well today i went to ikea curve tesco. and if youre wondering why i left out ikano, it's because i believe in telling the truth (HAH!) and i did not go there. so mum and i were walking around and suddenly this dude rammed his trolley into my leg instead of saying excuse me. BITCHHH. but oh well. who cares right i mean thats gonna bruise but well, i already have a pretty bad sunburn so i dont see how one bruise could make me look any less attractive right?

also, did anyone know there's apparently this newly invented aluminium cupboards that look seriously like wood? its friggin amazing. not seriously btu yeah. also, focus point must be gettign seriously desperate. it's got outlets at like curve, ikano and tesco now. and i dont have to tell you jsut hwo close all those shops are to eachother. very strange.

had an aweosme lunch today. JAPANESE BAYBEH! friggin awesome. finally ordered somethign worth eating and completely enjoying. (sakae sushi). ordered some sort of HUGE set thing with saba fish (mackerel), soft shell crab, miso soup, chawan mushi, the baby octopus thing and rice. very much worth it. also ordered the mango.. um... yeah i cant remmeber it had salmon in it. my mum just ordered garlic fried rice. she said she was hungry and wanted to leech off my food so.. ironic. i know.

anyway. the MAIN point (which i had nearly forgotten oops.) guess who went for LAMBERTTTTT.

oh yeah. ME i did! so did resh soong, zoe and several people i knew from kdu in my blurry, fuzzy primary years. yup. it was relaly awesome. i mean i though all american rejects were good, ADAM LAMBERT literally kicked their asses. he is really good. its like you can feel the raw talent using out off his skin and just pouring all over you. very freaking awesome. really wasn't expecting it to rock at that high a standard. respect. ahh and his voice. SOOOOO GOOD. and the bassist. tommy joe ratliff, thou art a fine fine sir. loved his solo.

so basically we spent the whole three hours there jumping up and down and screaming. the sleepover was pretty good too. i mean there were some things which i feel were rather negative so i'm not gonna talk about he here. (reserving that for my other diary. the paper old school one) but it was all nice really. missed them a lot :). yeah thanks soongie. you proabbly wont see this but thanks.

but GAH! it really bugs me that i cant go for paramore D:. dammitttttt

oh.i saw dickson at kdu, soong started yelling his name and i was like "NO!" and then i kinda squeezed her mouth shut while she was in the middel of shouting dickson which kinda resulted in her practiclaly screamign the word "DICKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!" in front of her entire school. oops. and i think i saw kashif too. yup he looks the same.

ahhhh okay the words are starting to stop with the flowing and stuff....

well anyway, if anyone reads this, tell me :D. would be nice to know someone acutlaly comes here. i mean, i do want to actually GET TO CASH OUT MY NUFFNANG CHEQUE THING. EVEN THOUGH I'M PRETTY SURE IT HASNT REALLY AMOUNTED TO ANYTHING REALLY SIGNIFICANT YET.. and i just looked up. and realized i've been typing in caps for the past few seconds. nevermind. just pretend i'm yelling in a totally non threatening tone.

okay. there's this red squiggly line under the word cheque. now i'm unsure if i've spelt it correctly or not. google. for google is god. well nto relay but ya know.

i read a quote somewhere and i'm goign to requote it as i am very much lost in this field. it goes like this.

pandas

the only thing that makes it a part of your life is that you keep thinking about it.

you guys are a part of my life.
okay. so i havent been updating well yeah. the truth is i've been pretty busy [well yeah that AND the fact that i'm just far to lazy to update]

so basically, the we already had our class party. it was mostly a blast and i had a lot of fun with all my friends. really glad i've met them. well as usual i seem to be at a loss for words. but maybe that's because its three in the morning. i ned my downloads to finish so i can hurry up and hit the sack. i'm not entirely nocturnal okay. i need some sleep. anyway, back to talk about the class party. bonded pretty well with almost everyone that day. oh adn guess what, daniel can play teh guitar. no let me rephrase that. daniel can SERIOUSLY play the guitar. he really just rocks. on so many levels. oh yeah dude you're my role model now.

so glad i went swimming in the end that was really fun. everyone got a lot of cramps though [i dont care if i'm misusing the word cramps i dont know what else i can call it] piggybacks were fun though. especially when youre the one being piggybacked. haha. oh yeah and because of the photo session and my unfortunate luck to not have brought any extra underwear and such, i had to wear the dress the whole day on top of the soaking wet stuff. but nah. i'm just exaggerating and we did swim pretty late so its not too bad.

photosession was really good. we got a lot of great shots for nostalgia and everyone had so much fun doing it. except for certain parts where i'm getting the idea some people were just mad because of the lack of cooperation but, its all good. jimmy's house is nice and i like the food his mom prepared.

oh finally got to see his baby photos too. SO CUTE. he looks like himself. =D

the last sports day 16.04.10

frankly i'm getting quite tired of the last of everything. but i think this year is possibly one of the best since we've already found our friends and have bonded much more. i'm just really sad that we're all probably going to go our separate ways pretty soon. well whatever. we better keep in touch and if you guys dont want me stalking you whenever i have the time you better not forget me.

sports day was fun. managed to convince the queen to grace us with her lovely presence at the stadium. it was great. we bonded more and other mushy stuff like that. it was really great. took a lot of pictures then too. suppose in the future one of us accidentally stumbles upon all these photos, wonder what his or her thoughts will be. but ill bet itll be something good. but knowing me, i wonder if future me would think current me was just a gigantic moron because lets face it, i do some pretty stupid things and walk into a great deal of inanimated objects. hopefully, future me will find that adorable and entertaining or something like that.

was actually going to just post the panda picture and go off. but i guess i got caught up in the moment. man i' going to miss high school.

on another note, i want those kinda shoes that are just completely black on top with one thick-ish white stripe lining the bottom of the shoe. i find them just really really nice.

too lazy to upload stuff? this is okay right?

anemone. anemone anemone anemone. hahahaha

also another word. jujubes. joojoobeeessss. haha or so i'm told that's how they're pronounced? btu the latter one is more fun to say. joojoobeeeeeess... i just got reminded of a nother word.. ahaha.. i will shut up now. good night.

ps: D GRAY MAN WOOHOO.

oh yeah just remembered nearly got crushed by a cabinet and piano today haha was pretty fun though. =D

i found this pretty amazing.

The following question was asked at the University of Copenhagen in a physics exam:
“”Describe how to determine the height of a skyscraper with a barometer.”

One student replied:
“You tie a long piece of string to the neck of the barometer, then lower the barometer from the roof of the skyscraper to the ground. The length of the string plus the length of the barometer will equal the height of the building.”

This highly original answer so incensed the examiner that the student was failed immediately. He appealed on the grounds that his answer was indisputably correct, and the university appointed an independent arbiter to decide the case. The arbiter judged that the answer was indeed correct, but did not display any noticeable knowledge of physics. To resolve the problem it was decided to call the student in and allow him six minutes in which to provide a verbal answer which showed at least a minimal familiarity with the basic principles of physics. For five minutes the student sat in silence, forehead creased in thought. The arbiter reminded him that time was running out, to which the student replied that he had several extremely relevant answers, but couldn’t make up his mind which to use. On being advised to hurry up the student replied as follows:

“Firstly, you could take the barometer up to the roof of the skyscraper, drop it over the edge, and measure the time it takes to reach the ground. The height of the building can then be worked out from the formula H = 0.5g x t squared. But bad luck on the barometer.

“Or if the sun is shining you could measure the height of the barometer, then set it on end and measure the length of its shadow. Then you measure the length of the skyscraper’s shadow, and thereafter it is a simple matter of proportional arithmetic to work uut the height of the skyscraper.

“But if you wanted to be highly scientific about it, you could tie a short piece of string to the barometer and swing it like a pendulum, first at ground level and then on the roof of the skyscraper. The height is worked out by the difference in the gravitational restoring force T = 2 pi sqrroot (l/g).

“Or if the skyscraper has an outside emergency staircase, it would be easier to walk up it and mark off the height of the skyscraper in barometer lengths, then add them up.

“If you merely wanted to be boring and orthodox about it, of course, you could use the barometer to measure the air pressure on the roof of the skyscraper and on the ground, and convert the difference in millibars into feet to give the height of the building.

But since we are constantly being exhorted to exercise independence of mind and apply scientific methods, undoubtedly the best way would be to knock on the janitor’s door and say to him ‘If you would like a nice new barometer, I will give you this one if you tell me the height of this skyscraper’.”

The student was Nils Bohr, the first Dane to win the Nobel prize for Physics.

dude. that guy rocks.

so anyway the first week of school after holidays is almost over.

this feeling kind of sucks a little. i miss the holidays. :(

OURAN! haha i miss this.

hmm havent came online for a week, theres a lot of new posts to read....

i guess dear sekky is still on her holiday thingy though. lucky ass. not quite sure as to where she is though. either turkey, Austria or wheretheheckistan. honestly i have no idea. she told me Austria but she told tong turkey so. for all i know, she may be halfway around the globe by now.

saw the new owl city mv thing. [the addiction is back again =D] i like it.  the sky looks really pretty and now i at least know what adam young looks like. well, but if you ask me to describe him to you, i would still however fail rather terribly. but oh well.

ah.. i really dont know what else to talk abotu now. i mean usually i come online everyday and i have somethign interesting to talk about but its like now i have some limit thing over the internet and such and even now, i have to be off by 15 minutes or so which in its own way sucks a lot.

oh well, my cat has this new addiction to angel hair spaghetti. the uncooked ones. but for this reason, she also smashes her head into the glass table a lot more than normal. maybe its the way that i keep holding the stick of spaghetti up higher, i don't know. but that's probably the reason. but either way, i dont see how it matters, she already has enough issues and brain damage. there's no way i can make it worse right?

oh yeah. we had our class photo taken today. the usual i guess. but this time, tong got cut out. :( also, our homeroom teacher lady person thing kept lecturing kath about the seating position in class and such. and when i tried to defend kath, her attention got diverted to me and i got lectured too. which in a way kinda sucks but it wasn't that bad. also, it kinda gives me something to talk about. oh and our class, 5 batai, happens to be one of the most kelam-kabut class ever. everyones so lost and blur and we're like "huh what?" most of the time. very fun. oh and at some point durign the candid photos, chin tak fell, pushed me and jenn, and indirectly crushed kath. haha. i'd like to see how that photo came out.

ahh so along the course of this week, my mum decided to change my physics tuition. :( and now i'm sitting next to a dude from my bm tuition. and while i may not be able to spell his name, i can actually pronounce it. i think. somewhat awkward sitting next to him though. wonder where i'll sit next week...

ps: i had subway for lunch. :p

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

so i was gonna post somethgin. btu along the way i kinda just forgot... a bit. okay a lot.

well im still going to post something anyway. i just have to find some random thing to talk about so this post won't look awkward.

at all.

like totally. not. awkward.

well.. uh

i happen to be crashing and burning.

well today as the third official holiday day thing, i watched a grand total of 1 movie, several animes, read my manga, scanned some stuff, stalked several people and right now, i'm about to go watch another movie. daybreakers woohoo.
watched legion last night? or was it two nights ago? honestly, my sense of timing is completely and utterly screwed. legion was cool. michael the angel dude, or the actor who played michael whose name happens to be paul bettany, is REALLY cool. especially when he starts holding two guns and shooting stuff. very very awesome.

also watched the number 23. seemed interesting. logan lerman [the dude who played percy jackson and the little boy in the butterfly effect] was in the movie. didnt know that till i watched it. but his part was pretty minor. jim carey was the main dude. there was a cool tattoo in the movie. it's kind of a dark movie i guess. btu at the same time, its just really quite interesting. paranoia and counting. very interesting. just kidding. btu i liked it. except for the sex parts. i mean yeah sure, they don't affect me. but that doesn't mean i enjoy watching them.

daybreakers, not bad. pretty good. some parts made me laugh like crap though which is a plus btu it could have been better i guess. the lead dude was funny. the way he did stuff was like damn adorable.

ah what else... oh yeah

taiyou no uta.

freaking depressing. but happy in several ways. ahh but SO SO SAD.

anyway, new topic. i like madina lakes new album. well their fairly new album. i'm really slow and stuff so i just got it a few days ago. songs are totally awesome. like welcome to oblivion, statistics and never.. ah i still can't remember its name. never something something.

i have a feeling tomorrow is going to be pretty awesome. but since i'm posting this at 1 ish. i guess it means today is going to be pretty awesome.

um...

okay i guess i'm done?

toes

yeah... i dont know what to say.

and i seem to enjoy drawing that face thing now. the stickers i stuck on them

well the exams are over and we're all pretty much free now. woohoo, although for me the exams kinda ended yesterday and i spent half the day rolling on my bed to find cool spots because its really hot nowadays and i dont feel like turning on the airconditioning.

so i just got google chrome and its pretty awesome. ish. the feeling of awe went away a few minutes ago. and i still dont know what else im supposed to talk about. so... yeah.

for some reason, i feel awkward. is that weird? also, i've noticed, without the presence of the internet and such, ive begun to talk to myself a lot. and then when i realise i'm talking to myself. or my cat, i stop and then i start laughing to myself. i dont think this is a good sign.
